Pocket PC Java Applet for 3JTech’s IP Camera
3JTech has recently announced its latest product development – software
written in Java that enables Pocket PC owners to view images from eCAMit
network camera remotely. Now the PDA owner can ‘get a grip’ of what is
happening at eCAMit camera site even when they are on the moves. The pocket PC

One of the biggest advantages of network camera is that you don’t need
a PC at camera site. Indeed, simply plug an Ethernet cable into eCAMit and you
can watch the image from anywhere around the world through Internet. 3JTech also provide Pocket PC Java
Applet for eCAMit. As long as the
PDA could be connected to the Internet through either modem or Ethernet card,
you could view the images from the camera.
eCAMit remote surveillance camera can be applied in numerous areas, you
can, for example, place an eCAMit at home to watch your dearest pet when you
are at work. Or it can be applied for security purposes to keep you informed
whenever there are intruders into your premise. The camera has a built in
motion detection and could also be connected to external trigger in/out. Once triggered, the camera could inform
remote PC, it could also send out the images as the attachment of an e-mail.
