3JTech Shipping eCAMit: a low cost camera with built in IP
3JTech manufacture a camera with built in IP. It is suitable for home, SOHO and cooperation office to DIY its own security or monitoring. The S.R.P. is targeted at US$139. It could also be used in complement to telephone conference for a video source. Plug direct to a HUB. The unit has the following basic function:
● Save the images or send real time warning to a remote PC through Internet when externally triggered or motion detected
● View the site through Internet anywhere with a password
● Allow Multiple Access to the Same Camera
● Set alarm or other devices from a remote PC through Internet
eCAMit offers free Windows application program, eViewU. It could open multiple Windows for
multiple eCAMits, allow multiple access to the same eCAMit. Other functions are “Record & Play
from remote PC”, “Two levels of passwords for remote setting”, etc.
